Happy Anniversary, Merry Christmas, Happy Anniversary, and Happy New Year!

So we have a lot, a lot, a lot to blog about. So hang in there! And the picture's are not from the holidays but they are all I have!

First off I wanted to say Happy Anniversary to our blog. It was really the 11th of Dec. but I wasn't paying attention. What a fun thing this has been, to be able to stay in contact with friends and family without having to call all the time. I confess I need to be better with posting and putting up picture's, but I have enjoyed staying in contact and also meeting new friends! So Happy Anniversary Blog, here's to another year!

Second we had a wonderful Christmas which was spent with the Champion Family. We flew into Utah on the 22nd and spent time with them till the 26th. We were able to see all of the family and spend good time with them. We went to movies, played games, sat and talked, ate great food, and did the regular family things. It was so great to see our nieces and nephew. They have all grown so much! We didn't get many picture's because our camera wasn't working. Thank you so much again Champion family for a Great Christmas.

Then we headed up to the Holmstead Cabin for some much needed relaxation and more family time. What a great place! It is literally out in the middle of no where with no television and such. There is a huge home theater system set up so we did watch a lot of movies and Drew played XBOX with my brothers. We were able to see most of the Holmstead family except for my sister who was in Maine for the Holidays and my two step-brothers. Then we headed back to the Holmstead home and spent time there till the 1st.

While we were up at the cabin Drew and I also celebrated our 3 year Anniversary. We couldn't believe it, 3 years already. Although Drew joked that it has been a long 3 years, we have never loved each other more. We reflected on our marriage and how much we have learned and what we have accomplished. I am so grateful for Drew and his constant example to me. He is such a life saver. We are the perfect match for each other. I help him to stay focused while he helps me to remember to have a little fun with life and enjoy the little and big things. He is so fun and I honestly don't know where I would be without him. I Love you Drew, Happy Anniversary!

Then...

and now...

And Happy New Year to everyone! It has been quite an exciting year already. For New Years we decided to stay up all night because our flight back to California left at 7 so we had to be at the airport rather early. So we stayed up with family and played games and such and then left for the airport to head home. Thank you to all of our family for such a great holiday vacation. We were so happy to have spent the time we had with you even though it might have seemed short. We can't wait to see you all again and again a Happy New Year to everyone. Hope its a good one for everyone! And Family we Love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your love and support while we have been out here in Cali. We can't do it without you!

And 2009, here we come!

Geez, you guys had a lot going on! Happy anniversary! Merry Christmas and happy new year! I am jealous of that cabin. That looks way nice and the idea of kind of being in the middle of nowhere sounds nice too. Also, I like your "now" picture a lot!!! Here's to getting to know each other better throughout the new year . . .

Sare Bear - It is so nice to get caught up on your life. I am so glad you had such a good time with your family over the holidays. How did your talk in church go? Why didn't you blog that? XOXO Aunt Dawna
