One Monday morning, I think it was the Monday before Martin Luther King day, Drew and I woke up just like a regular Monday morning, got ready for school and work and headed out the door. We go at the same time so I usually take him to school on my way to work. Drew usually says something like I don't want to go to school today, lets call in sick or something like that. So I usually just ignore him and drop him off. Well this particular morning Drew says I don't want to go to school today, so I turned to him and said, OK, lets go to the Zoo totally joking. Then we made eye contact and he said I wonder if they are open, so he called and they are open year round, from 9-4. So instead of dropping him off we headed straight to the Zoo, no turning back. So here are a few pictures we took. I recommend doing something like this. Spontaneous Zoo Trip! It was so good for us! But we did get a kick in the butt towards the end when it turned into a white out at the Zoo and on the way home, but it was so much fun!

I can't see the pics -- but I'm sure you had fun!! I always want to ditch work and school for funner things -- I admire your ambition to do it!!
