Rat-pa-tooty

Something strange has happened. Sarah was able to take Dixie to her first California haircut. No longer would she be the big puffy ball without a face following me everywhere I go.

When I got home I saw this:

And ever since yesterday afternoon, Dixie has been exhibiting some strange, dare I say, rat-like tendencies.

Notice the rat-ish feet and tail:

Her creepy potential has increased as she waited for me in the dark (notice the glowing eyes):

Also, she's begun eating food left on the counter:

And going through the trash:

And she bites with the ferocity of a NYC sewer rat:

Hopefully when her hair grows out she'll begin to settle back in her old ways.

One sign she has morphed into a rat: you come down with Bubonic Plauge.

Try not to drink out of the same water bowl until after her hair grows back...just to be safe.

I've seen 2 Dixie dogs on the streets of New York this past week. Oh wait...no, those were rats. No, just kidding. I have seen 2 Dixie's. It was weird.
