Well this was our 4th weekend in Cali and everything is still so exciting and we still can't get out of Vacation mode. I go to work and feel like I am back in Utah even answering the phone "Saturn of Orem how may I help you" and then realize I don't work there anymore and then come home and feel like I am on Vacation all over again. I guess it is a good thing.
Anyway back to our weekend. I got off work early on Friday to go to the DMV to get drivers licenses and registration which was a mess and we are still in the process. Then we came home and just chilled. I know just chilled at home instead of playing on the beach or something, trust me I thought the same thing but I just needed to Veg. So we did.
Saturday morning I got up early cleaned the apartment and then we got ready for a day at the Los Angeles Temple and then the rest of the day at the beach. So we packed everything up and headed out. We were also joined by our friends Tiffany and Eric. When we figured out where the Temple was we were surprised how it was surrounded by all city but when you got inside it was the same peaceful feeling you get in every Temple. It was amazing.
Then after the Temple we headed out towards Santa Monica Pier and then headed a little north towards Malibu. We finally made it to the beach after searching for parking for ever and then headed out for a swim. It was so beautiful.
We stayed till the sunset swimming, eating sandwiches, playing with Dixie in the water and sand, burying each other, and just enjoying the scenery. Makes you all want to come out huh? Well you have a place to stay so come on out. Overall it was a Great weekend. We went to Church on Sunday and found out the Jon Heder is in our ward with his brother Dan and also all the Johnson brothers if you know of them. Then we just relaxed the rest of Sunday and watched the Emmy's. Go 30 Rock and Tina Fey! Hope everyone is doing well we miss and love you all. Drop us a line anytime and for sure come see us anytime.

wow.. it sounds like you hard a great weekend.. I worked all weekend.. but sunday night I went to the emmy after party which was so much fun.. But we need to hang out so let me know your schedule and we will set something up.. talk to you soon I hope..
I wish I could go the beach on the weekend or after work, you're so lucky.
It sounds like you guys are taking every advantage to enjoy the many attractions. And there is always something new to do too. We don't have any plans for Conference weekend, so if you want to get together then, that sounds great!
